I think my body is playing tricks on me. First, I haven't had a good nights sleep since I started. Is it the Green Tea supplements? I don't know. I only take one in the morning, so it seems it should have plenty of time to wear off. Last night was the worse. I was wide awake till 3:30am. Not cool! Second, I weighed myself today. Hahaha *insert sarcasm*. I've lost a total of maybe 2 pounds. That might be a stretch, too. It's probably more like 1.5 or something.
I know on a normal diet that's closer to normal. This isn't a normal diet. Lots of people are losing 3 pounds on the first day. I just need to be patient. Noone needs to tell me that. I already know. But man, it really takes a ding on my motivation level! I'll keep going though.
Last night I made a chicken and veggie soup. I used chicken bouillion to make the broth. Put in some chopped up chicken, carrots, celery, a can of italian style tomatoes, onions, lots of seasonings. It was pretty yummy! Even my kids did ok with it.
This morning I had a smoothie. It was super delicious! I used 6oz of plain yogurt, about 3/4 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder, a handfull of berries, tiny scoop of Stevia and some water. I actually feel rather satisfied from that. I've been constantly hungry. I know it's because my body is craving the sweets.
Tomorrow morning, I'm going to make another smoothie. Using this yogurt, protein powder & stevia. But this time I'm going to put in a banana and a scoop of peanut butter. Mmmm, it sounds good, doesn't it? We'll see! I might as well have fun with experimenting!
